Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle In Ugly Secret War

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are ripping the royals apart in a bitter, secret catfight because Prince William's wife and Prince Harry's bride-to-be both hate each other’s guts!

“Their relationship is a hot-bed of jealousy, backstabbing and ego,” The National ENQUIRER learned from a royal insider. “They could be the stars of a TV reality show called The Royal Housewives of Kensington Palace!

“Oh, they put on a friendly front when they have to appear at events together," the source continued, "but the truth is they’ll never be BFFs — and Wills and Harry haven’t a clue what to do!” The feud exploded soon after Harry and Meghan announced their engagement last November and the women became palace neighbors.

“Kate was shocked to see some of Meghan’s sex scenes from her TV series "Suits," and was just as horrified as [Queen Elizabeth] when Meghan wore a daring top for her engagement photos,” the source said. “She called Meghan a totally tacky social climber.”

As Harry and Meghan’s May 19 wedding fast approaches, Kate fears her brother-in-law is making a big mistake, said sources. “Kate adores Harry and wants him to have the family he’s always dreamed of,” said a courtier. “But she’s worried he’s fallen for Meghan for all the wrong reasons.

“He’s clearly dazzled by her being a Hollywood star, but Kate fears Meghan’s just playing another role — devoted fiancée — to get her man," a source added. “Meghan was obsessed with Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, when she was young. Marrying Harry and becoming a royal herself is a dream come true.

“Kate’s convinced Meghan will collapse under the relentless royal spotlight — and cruelly break Harry’s heart, like she did her first husband, Trevor Engelson," said the source. “She dumped him by mailing her engagement and wedding rings back to him!”

Insiders say Kate, who just delivered her and Will's third child, has felt overshadowed by fashion icon Meghan. “It’s not easy to compete with a size two when you’re eight months pregnant,” says the insider. “Kate’s felt fat and dowdy, and Meghan’s taken every opportunity to shine at the expense of her future sister-in-law.

“She’s accused Kate of lording it over her and acting like she’s already queen and told Harry she will not be intimidated by her," said the source. “Meghan is used to being the center of attention. She brims with confidence and flouts royal rules.

"[Meghan]’s made it clear she won’t be lowering her hems or wearing a more ‘mature’ hairstyle as Kate agreed to do. She’s forging her own path and she’ll let nothing — and no one — stand in her way," the source said. "Especially Kate.”

William and Harry are at their wits’ end, say sources. “The brothers expected their wives to get along famously, but the women are total opposites and haven’t hit it off at all. Kate even boycotted Meghan’s bachelorette party at a luxury spa, using the excuse she was ‘too pregnant.’

“For the desperate princes, it’s a race against time to get their women to call a truce before the wedding," the source warned. "The brothers are being torn apart!”
