Charles Manson was given a Christian funeral on March 17, 2018, at the Porterville Nazarene Church near his old California prison — and was even praised by one of the few surviving Manson Girls from his "family" of cult killers!

Jason Freeman, the lost grandson of Manson, won a court battle against a bizarre cast of characters to cremate the psychotic leader who ordered his homicidal hippies to murder Sharon Tate and her Hollywood friends on August 8, 1969 — followed by the brutal murders of Leno & Rosemary LaBianca. A filmmaker was present to capture Jason finally seeing his grandfather in person for the first time — and he also got to meet one of Manson's original followers.

Sandra remained devoted to Manson after he was sentenced in 1971 on first-degree murder charges for his role in the Tate/LaBianca murders. Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, and Patricia Krenwinkel would be given life sentences for their roles in following Manson's command to slaughter Sharon and her dinner guests. Sandra's fellow "Manson Girl" Leslie Van Houten (pictured during the trial) joined in butchering the LaBiancas the next night.

Sandra later served a prison stretch after being indicted in 1975 for "conspiracy to send threatening letters through the mail," after a letter-writing campaign threatening death to over 150 American executives. Just months before, "Manson Girl" Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme (in red hood) had attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford. Sandra announced that attempt was just the start of "a wave of assassins" pursuing Manson's vision.

As earlier reported by The ENQUIRER, Sandra remained devoted to Manson — who died in prison on Nov. 19, 2017. "Sandra operates a Web site under Manson's direction," reported Christopher Simmons in 2002, as he worked with Sharon Tate's sister Debra to monitor Manson's existing followers. "She also funnels the money from it according to his wishes."

Insiders who claimed Sandra was present added that she "received love and respect" as the sole original Family member at the funeral. Manson's former fiancée Afton “Star” Burton was also present. (Fromme's whereabouts are currently unknown.) Another source added that some followers were troubled at the casket being open to provide Jason with a face-to-face meeting — complaining that it was disrespectful after Manson's body had become badly decayed.
