plagued with mental illness since childhood. Her parents checked their then-teenaged daughter into a mental ward at the Utah State Hospital in Provo, where she was held against her will for nearly nine months!

While at the hospital, Roseanne has said, “I started to heal” — but now those wounds could be re-emerging. Her volatile behavior comes as no surprise to mental health specialist Dr. Gilda Carle. “With mental illness you’re always fighting to stay on an even plane,” said Carle, who has not treated the star.
