The ENQUIRER had originally reported that Simpson had been taken to the offices of lie detector examiner Dr. Edward Gelb on June 14, 1994 — just
two days after the murders. "O.J. wasn't sure what was happening," said the source. "Then Shapiro dropped his bombshell, telling Simpson he wanted him to take a polygraph test."

"O.J. balked a bit at first," the source added, "but Shapiro assured him that the results would be kept secret,
that no one would ever find out." Bailey, however, finally revealed how the lawyers quickly decided the questioning was a big mistake — and the results have been hidden ever since.

"Shapiro stopped the test and grabbed the polygraph charts," claimed Bailey, "He now says that he does not have them." Bailey also said: "I read them, and nobody else ever has." The insider, however, said that the questioning including Simpson saying "No," when asked
if he had ever hit Nicole — or if he knew who killed Nicole!

The source added that Simpson also had denied being at Nicole's house on the night of June 12. "O.J. seemed
dazed and out of it," added the insider — even before it was allegedly revealed that he had scored a "staggering minus 22" on a scale where "minus 6 indicates 'borderline' deception.'"

Bailey's revelation came as no surprise to
Gloria Allred, who went on to represent Nicole's family in the civil trial where Simpson was found responsible for the deaths of his ex-wife and Ron. "This is just one more reason," she said, "why Mr. Simpson should be
shunned by people of conscience."
