Steve Harvey has been gut-punched with another nasty lawsuit — accusing the TV tyrant of stalking, harassment and civil rights violations!

In court documents obtained exclusively by The National ENQUIRER, Essie claimed the cigar-chomping scumbag used threats, intimidation and a sealed gag order to silence her and smear her name.

Essie alleges Harvey targeted her with his dirty tricks after she asked his ex-wife, Mary Vaughn, to join the reality show, “Widows, Wives and Ex-Celebrity Wives.” “The defendant went to great lengths to make Ms. Berry’s life a living hell,” the complaint, filed on March 8, read.

“I was sent several letters telling me to shut up, telling me I was gagged!” she charged. Essie claimed the phony funnyman accused her of being an “extortionist” and “co-conspirator” in a bid to “murder” her state of mind!

Harvey also sent squads of process servers after her, prompting her to file a police report claiming she feared for her life, according to the court papers. Now, Essie wants to hold NBC, ABC, FOX and “Family Feud” accountable for Harvey’s bullying behavior!

“You continue to allow this man to go on TV while he destroys other people’s lives without any remorse,” Essie declared in her suit. Besides the $5 million, she wants an apology and for Harvey to clear her name.

The legal drama is just the latest evidence that Harvey’s rags-to-riches fairy tale has flamed out. “The evidence is getting very hard to ignore,” said a Hollywood insider, noting the string of scandals haunting the con-man comic. “People are taking notice.”

As The ENQUIRER reported in Oct., 2017, Harvey can’t recruit a single big-name celebrity to guest on his talk show after we exposed his sleazy history of lies, bigamy and bigotry! His downfall began in November 2016 when The ENQUIRER exposed recordings revealing Harvey spewing racist hate.

Then, in April 2017, we reported how Harvey ordered a goon named “Big Boom” to haul his own son out of a college dormitory as punishment for a slight. Soon came allegations Harvey issued an edict for “The Steve Harvey Show” staffers to “not enter his dressing room unless invited.”

In Sept. 2017, The ENQUIRER reported how Steve had been accused of “using sleazy intimidation tactics, crooked bagmen and hired thugs to do his dirty work, in order to cheat on his own family.”

We also revealed how he duped second wife Mary — and the judge overseeing their 2005 divorce — by concealing millions in assets. Mary suffered a legal setback in December when an L.A. judge ruled her claim that Harvey “murdered her soul” had to be filed in Texas — the state where they were divorced.

That’s pushed Mary to give up her fight against her brutish ex. “Mary’s tired of it all,” her sister, Ruth, told The ENQUIRER. “She’s trying to move on with her life.”
