The new couple were lovey-dovey on camera as they house hunted in Venice, Calif. “The two were definitely showing off their PDA,” a source spilled. “They looked in love and comfortable. Anna kept looking in his eyes. They were holding hands the entire time and smiling.”
Anna and Chris have been separated only since August, but The National ENQUIRER
's sources have seen the new couple out and about all over L.A. in recent weeks. Anna met the cinematographer while working on the upcoming remake of the Goldie Hawn comedy “Overboard.”
Our spies spotted them at the upscale, romantic Modo Mio restaurant in trendy Pacific Palisades — twice in one week! “They were laughing at the table,” according to spywitnesses. “Anna looked very happy and had a smile on her face when she was leaving.”
The twosome were also seen in September taking Anna and Chris’ son, Jack, to a local carnival — where anyone who didn’t know them would have assumed Michael was Jack’s dad! “They made the day all about Jack and were watching him play carnival games and cheering him on,” a source on the scene reported.
Michael’s seemingly close relationship with Jack has Chris seething, friends confided. “Both are seeking joint custody, but Chris can’t be thrilled with how Michael seems to have seamlessly replaced him with Jack,” a source spilled.
Anna’s fears were based on experience: She fell in love with Chris
while filming “Take Me Home Tonight” in 2007 — even though she was already married. Now insiders reveal that Anna has put Chris in her rear-view mirror and her focus is on Michael.
“Anna is convinced that Michael is the guy for her,” said a source. “He has no ego
, unlike Chris, and he is completely devoted to her. It’s no wonder she wants to set up house with him!”
