Close insiders even claim that they even fought to save the beloved star as he suffered through a nightmare of neglect, physical abuse and chilling threats. Nearly nine years after the “Dirty Dancing” star’s tragic death from pancreatic cancer on Sept. 14, 2009, close pals and household employees have come forward to make shocking allegations about Lisa Niemi, accused of being Patrick’s two-timing wife. The furious sources say that Niemi all but bullied the withered hunk into an early grave at only 57 years of age!

“She had a temper,” one source told The ENQUIRER, “and she would dig her fingernails deep into his arms and scratch him when she would get mad at him.” The physical abuse didn't get any better with Patrick’s worsening illness, added the insider, saying that Patrick's spouse of 34 years “would claw at his arms and neck — she would even punch and slap him!”

“I didn’t see a lot of the abuse, but I heard it,” said a maid who worked for the Swayzes for nearly 30 years, but only agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity. “I was afraid of her. She would be normal one minute, then the next she would be furious at something. She was like an animal!”

While Lisa’s rep described the allegations as “categorically untrue,” another confidante recalled witnessing her pointing an antique Colt Peacemaker pistol at the cancer-ravaged star and threatening to put him out of his misery! “She would pick up whatever was handy and use it to threaten him — and that time, it just happened to be the Peacemaker that was sitting on the table in the TV room,” the pal claimed.

She threatened him until he completed the book.”
