Board members officially fired the Oscar-winning producer from The Weinstein Company on Oct. 7 after Ashley and other stars claimed that Harvey had tried to lure them into sexual encounters. The charges have also sparked charges of a double-standard in Hollywood, with "Saturday Night Live" refusing to joke about the scandal, and Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama both failing to condemn the prominent Democrat donor.

Meanwhile, other stars have sheepishly admitted that they had heard rumors about Harvey's reputation — with Glenn Close saying that "yes, for many years, I have been aware of the vague rumors that Harvey Weinstein had a pattern of behaving inappropriately around women." George Clooney, however, said: "Harvey’s admitted to it, and it’s indefensible...but I can tell you that I’ve never seen any of this behavior — ever."

Matt Damon and Russell Crowe have been accused of helping out Harvey in covering up his scandals, though. Veteran showbiz reporter Sharon Waxman says that both superstars came forward to "directly" challenge the facts in an article that she was preparing for the New York Times in 2004 about Harvey's harassment — helping to get the article killed.

Susan Sarandon saluted her fellow actresses, saying via social media: "Huge respect for Ashley Judd and all the women who broke their silence for the article on Harvey Weinstein." But Rose McGowan — alleged to have been paid $100,000 in a settlement with Weinstein — taunted other actresses, saying: “Ladies of Hollywood, your silence is deafening.”

Shortly afterwards, Rose's former "Charmed" costar Alyssa Milano went to social media to explain her own silence, citing her friendship with Harvey's wife Georgina Chapman (pictured), saying: "It is because of my love for Georgina [and her children] that I haven’t publicly commented on this until now." She added: "To the women who have suffered any form of abuse of power, I stand beside you."

Famed designer Donna Karan rushed to apologize after saying Harvey's victims could have been "asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality." And in one bizarre twist, comic actor and former "SNL" star Rob Schneider joined the fray to announce that "EVERY actress has a story" — and, when asked, saying in all seriousness: "It's happened to me, too."
