Jean took Casey from his Santa Monica nursing home in May 2014 and whisked him away to a friend’s home in Silverdale, Wash. Just weeks later, the “American Top 40” radio host expired at a nearby hospital from sepsis, UTI and staph.

“She didn’t want to have his body preserved!” cried Kerri (shown here with her dad in 1996), who’s since founded the Kasem Cares Foundation to fight for access to an ailing parent when under the care of an uncooperative spouse or sibling.

Despite that, one top investigator questioned the motives of Jean, shown here with Casey and the kids in 1985. “Why would his wife move him out of a medical facility and into a house?” said New York private detective

“And why haul his body off to Norway to be buried," the detective continued, "unless she had something to hide? They’re definitely going to target the wife if there are any signs of homicide on the exhumed body.”

Interestingly, it was Jean who pressured cops to reopen the investigation! Kerri, her brother,
Mike, and sister,
Julie, filed a wrongful death suit against
Jean, who counter-sued — with both sides citing “cruelty and neglect.” “The only thing she ever wanted from my dad was his money,” Kerri claimed.

Casey’s estate was worth between $80 million and $100 million when he died, and Jean retained legal rights over his remains.

That allowed her to bury Casey’s body in Oslo. “It is as if all this woman cares about is keeping his body from his children,” investigator Logan Clarke told The ENQUIRER.

Now Kerri is determined to have her father’s body exhumed to prove Jean’s abuse caused his death. “I still plan to bury my father in Los Angeles where he wanted to be buried ... I have not given up!” Kerri told The ENQUIRER.
