The troubled star told GQ magazine that he likes "to run things into the ground," and confessed that he was drinking hard when Angelina abruptly slammed him with divorce papers in Nov. 2016! "I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family," Brad insisted, "But even this last year, you know — things I wasn't dealing with. I was boozing too much." Brad still insisted that he's totally sober now, saying: "I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet — but I've got my feelings in my fingertips again."

Brad also spoke out about Angelina calling authorities on her troubled husband, saying that the couple is "working at" finalizing a custody agreement for their kids. "I was really on my back and chained to a system when Child Services was called," said Brad. "And you know, after that, we've been able to work together to sort this out." A chastened Brad still mourns: "It's just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart."

But while Brad reveals that he "can't remember a day since [he] got out of college when [he] wasn't boozing or had a spliff," he also insists that he "stopped everything except boozing when he started [his] family." What he says and does behind closed doors are often two very different things!” The insider claimed Brad would often smoke in secluded spots on the family estate in Los Feliz, Calif., often using his Airstream trailer as his personal drug lair: “Brad will often head there with a buddy, a few joints, some beer and a pack of cigarettes to wind down from the stresses of the day.”

But now Brad may be serious about getting straight — with court documents obtained by The ENQUIRER showing that the star agreed to take drug and alcohol tests four times a month as part of the couple's ongoing custody battle. And while Brad is speaking out now, he originally fought to keep that agreement secret — with his attorneys saying that the court papers would cause “irreparable damage” if released.
