Brad Pitt Wastes Away As ‘Child Care Professionals’ Step In

Brad Pitt shocked fans when he showed up at a film screening in Los Angeles — and not just because he was with old costar Julia Roberts! The estranged husband of Angelina Jolie looked disturbingly thin as he made a rare appearance in the aftermath of his dirty divorce. In another troubling twist, it was also learned that "child care professionals" had been called in to try and put an end to the couple's custody battle!

Brad and Angelina have both been interviewed by agents from the Department of Child and Family Services after the "Maleficent" star accused her husband of terrorizing her kids. Things got complicated when a rep for Jolie announced: "Childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago."

"In accordance with this agreement," said the rep, "the six children will stay in their mother's custody, and the children will continue therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children’s best interest."

But on the Friday before the statement, said sources, Pitt had finally filed a response to Angelina's divorce petition where he had requested joint custody. Jolie initially requested full custody in her filing in September — and insiders insisted the couple are still working out their own custody plan. Meanwhile, the continuing legal crisis is clearly taking a toll on Brad!
