Brad Pitt is wasting away while hiding out in Hollywood — as seen in these troubling new photos of the distressed movie star! The National ENQUIRER caught the 53-year-old actor looking scary-skinny on the streets of Los Angeles, just weeks after revealing how the depressed star is spending his nights holed away in a pal's art studio. “Brad spends all night working on his art and listening to emotional songs,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “Everybody knows it’s related to what’s going on with him personally, but nobody says anything...Art is a way for him to concentrate on one thing, and take his mind off everything else. He’d rather do that and be constructive than go out partying.”

“His friends are keeping an eye on him and making sure he doesn’t get bored or lonely,” an insider spilled. In the days after his breakup with Angelina Jolie in September, Brad reportedly drowned his sorrows in booze and drugs. But, as The ENQUIRER reported, he later spent $15,000 on a five-night sober retreat in a private suite at the Casa Del Mar resort in Santa Monica. “It’s been a huge lifestyle change,” a pal assured The ENQUIRER, “but Brad’s snuffed out the weed for good!”
