Woody Allen was supposed to be celebrating his new comedy at the Cannes Film Festival — but now the acclaimed screen legend is at risk of ending his career like the disgraced Bill Cosby! As reported by The National ENQUIRER, the premiere of Woody's "Café Society" was first overshadowed by his son accusing him of being a child molester. Now actress Susan Sarandon has backed up the charges, as Woody declares that he's "dying and don't care what happens!"

Ronan Farrow ruined the "Café Society" launch with his attack on Woody — insisting that his sister Dylan was telling the truth about the comedy legend molesting her at the age of 7 years old. Ronan, now 28, wrote the controversial essay for "The Hollywood Reporter," and Woody tried to downplay the charges during the event.

Susan Sarandon, however, wasn't shy about backing Ronan when she was asked about Woody during another panel at the Cannes Film Festival. She was appearing with "Thelma and Louise" costar Geena Davis to discuss women in film, when Susan was asked about a recent comment by Woody about casting older women.

Susan declined to answer, saying: “I think he sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that’s right. I have nothing good to say about him. I don’t want to go there.”

Meanwhile, "Café Society" star Blake Lively tried to defend her director, insisting that Dylan Farrow's charges against the director didn't have any influence on her decision to make the film. “It’s very dangerous to factor in things you don’t know anything about. I could [only] know my experience. And my experience with Woody is he’s empowering to women."

Blake said the joke was "disappointing" and "wasn't funny," but Woody insisted that he "wasn't offended" — and gave an interview where he described his current frame of mind. "Now that I’m older and dying and don’t care what happens," he said, "I’m willing to take more risks, willing to go out without the protection of comedy."
