“He’s showing the scars of skin surgery — most likely for the removal of a new cancer,” New York internist
Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated the “Batman” star, told
The National ENQUIRER. “Combined with the
original tumor he suffered in his throat, this is
far from a good sign.”

Other physicians, who also have not examined Val, believe this is a dire sign

Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who said “it is most likely a shave biopsy” taken to “check for a hidden cancer or malignant mole!”

The flesh-eating cancer is normally treatable, but given
Val’s preexisting throat tumor, it could be a sign of disaster. “If the cancer has spread beyond the neck, into the lymph nodes and other parts of the body, it’s rarely, if ever curable,” said
Dr. Jerome Spunberg.

The fact that Val, a devout follower of Christian Science, has
used prayer instead of modern meds to treat his disease is also distressing. “Delaying treatment for religious or any other reason is an extremely dangerous mistake,” said Dr. Fischer. “Now his prognosis is much murkier.”
