Davenport's defense attorney Beth Unger claimed: “E’Dena Hines disclosed to Lamar Davenport and others that her grandfather engaged in a sexually inappropriate relationship with her.” Dr. Jeremy Colley, a therapist who counseled Davenport, added that E'Dena and Davenport had “disagreements” that were “emotionally intense.”
