Now The National ENQUIRER has these bombshell photos of E'Dena trying to find happiness with addict Lamar Davenport — the same man who'd later savagely murder her while under the influence of the psychotic drug PCP. Freeman has stayed far away from the NYC trial that's bared more details about the secret romance first revealed by The ENQUIRER in 2009. But in a troubling twist, the star has even denied knowing E'Dena!

The UK publication Daily Mail caught Freeman in Los Angeles, and asked about new testimony in the trial. Davenport's attorneys are pursuing an insanity defense, and say that E'Dena's lover was troubled by text message from her about "grandpa feelings" and "submissive love." The actor only smiled and said: "I don't even know what you’re talking about!"

E'Dena was the granddaughter of Morgan's first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw, and was raised by Morgan and his second wife Myrna Colley-Lee "since she was a little girl," a source told The ENQUIRER. The ENQUIRER would later reveal that E'Dena had been dumped by the actor in late 2011 — after both Myrna and the Oscar-winner's longtime mistress had left Freeman over his continuing affair with the younger woman.

Beth Unger, who represents Davenport, renewed the scandal during the ongoing trial by claiming in court that E'Dena had “disclosed to…Davenport and others that her grandfather engaged in a sexually inappropriate relationship with her.” She had been living with Davenport in an $800,000 uptown Manhattan apartment that had been bought for her by Freeman.

That same apartment was where E'Dena shot troubling video of her deranged lover on the last night that she was alive. Freeman is distancing himself from the trial, but hasn't given up on the property. In 2015, shortly after E'Dena filmed her own final moments, Freeman took legal steps to prevent her biological father from inheriting her property.
