Matt Lauer’s Bosses Cleared In Sicko Sex Investigation

Matt Lauer terrorized "Today" staffers with acts of sexual harassment, but NBC brass says management had no idea — while dismissing bombshell early reports like in The National ENQUIRER!

The official internal report from NBC claims that nobody who was part of the "NBC News and 'Today Show' leadership...knew that Lauer had engaged in sexual activity with other employees." That's after former "Today" host Ann Curry said that she'd personally gone to network brass over Matt's behavior.

“I told management they had a problem and they needed to keep an eye on him and how he deals with women,” Ann revealed — but NBC is insisting that its employees only knew about Matt's sex-crazed behavior from outside reports.

"Most witnesses interviewed," said the report, "stated that they had heard or read rumors about Lauer’s personal life, including tabloid stories about the troubled state of his marriage and the possibility of extramarital affairs, but those witnesses believed, with limited exceptions, that the rumored extramarital affairs were with women outside of the Company."

The ENQUIRER, meanwhile, had exposed several instances of Lauer's worst antics on the "Today Show" set — from both the NYC studios and his overseas dalliances while covering the Olympics. Some NBC insiders are already blasting the report as a cover-up, with one saying: “It's now up to the women to change the culture here!”
