A swaggering Paddock provided a court deposition on October 29, 2013 in a failed attempt to go after big bucks from the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas — claiming the owners were responsible after he slipped and fell there in 2011. The disturbing document raises even more troubling questions about the killer.

At one point, Paddock mocked a lawyer after the gambler says that he routinely put up "a million dollars" while hitting the casinos every night. "That's a lot of money," said the attorney, with Paddock retorting: "No, it's not." Paddock is also cagey about what he did for a living before becoming a professional gambler, only saying he was an IRS agent before investing in real estate.

The future mass murderer was more forthcoming about his bizarre personal habits. “I’ll gamble all night,” he said. “I sleep during the day” — and added: “I do not do sun.” The high-roller also said that he lived out of comped hotel rooms "95% of the time," and that he had a doctor "on retainer" who provided him with Valium.

A prostitute hired by Paddock in his final days has also spoken out, telling the UK newspaper The Sun that her client got off on "violent rape fantasies." The hooker added that Paddock blamed his “dark and twisted side” on his psychotic con-man father, telling her: “I didn’t have anything really to do with him, but the bad streak is in my blood.”

Las Vegas legend Steve Wynn boasted that Paddock would've never been able to set up his murderous plan at one of his casino resorts. “The scenario that we’re aware of would have indicated that he didn’t let anyone in the room for two or three days,” Wynn said on FOX News. “That would have triggered a whole bunch of alarms here.”

The mogul also noted that Paddock and his girlfriend Marilou Danley were regulars at his hotels. Richard A. Patterson, an attorney with Owen Patterson & Owen, is already proceeding with legal filings for a class-action lawsuit against the Mandalay Bay Resort where Paddock settled in for his deadly rampage.

Patterson wants to freeze the assets of the filthy-rich killer, and also blasted the resort for not keeping a closer eye on Paddock, who had over 200 reports of suspicious financial transactions in casinos over the past three years. "When you have a patron that is on the suspicious list," said Patterson, "treat him as if he's suspicious!"
