Suspect Arrested In JonBenet Ramsey Case
Disturbing new details of the investigation into JonBenét Ramsey's death have been revealed by a former grand juror! As revealed by The National ENQUIRER, the grand jury was originally formed to look into the brutal murder of the 6-year-old beauty queen. Her tiny corpse was found strangled in her family's home on Dec. 25, 1996 — and, 20 years later, a member of the grand jury has spoken out to ABC News!

The identity of the grand juror is kept concealed for the Dec. 16 airing on "20/20." The anonymous man reveals, however, that he was impartial enough to end up on the grand jury because he was originally repulsed by the crime! “I saw that there was a little girl dressed up with, in my opinion, a sexual persona, and it disgusted me," he says — adding: "And I turned off the TV!”

The juror also talks about visiting the site of JonBenét's grisly murder: “In the basement where she was found, it was actually kind of an obscure layout. You come down the stairwell and you had to go into another room to find a door that was closed. It was a very eerie feeling. It was like, ‘Somebody had been killed here.’”

Boulder County District Attorney Alex Hunter annou
Alex Hunter, the District Attorney for Boulder County, later announced that no criminal charges would be filed after the grand jury deliberations. “There is no way that I would have been able to say, ‘Beyond a reasonable doubt, this is the person,’" said the understanding juror. "And if you are the district attorney, if you know that going in, it’s a waste of taxpayer dollars to do it.”

The ENQUIRER recently revealed how the JonBenét investigation is also being renewed with advanced DNA testing — as Boulder police plan to review evidence against prime suspects. Those include "confessed" murderer John Mark Karr, some local Colorado pedophiles, and the mysterious case of a man who committed suicide after JonBenet's death.
