A police spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department confirmed to
RADAR Online that the police were called “at approximately 10 p.m. by Ms. Jackson” to the Nobu hotel in Malibu, Calif., on June 1, saying: “Deputies responded to the request to check on the welfare of the child. Deputies arrived and the child was fine, so they left. Deputies informed Ms. Jackson.”

But pop star sibling Randy Jackson went to "Entertainment Tonight" to say that Janet called the cops after getting a call from the nanny that she hired to watch her child — with Randy saying the “terrified” baby sitter had “locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.” And while police left the scene, insiders say that
