Goldie Hawn had a high-profile 71st birthday by stepping out at Hollywood hotspot Catch — where she sported a daring dress worthy of her old 'Banger Sister's costar Susan Sarandon! Goldie was celebrating turning 71 years old on Nov. 21, 2016, while also having wrapped up her first movie in 15 years. She was also celebrating with longtime love Kurt Russell as the couple fought to salvage their 33-year romance!

The National ENQUIRER first had the scoop on how the couple's trial separation was at risk of becoming permanent. Friends reported that the couple is quarreling over how to spend their final years — and one pal said that Goldie “believes they are destined to fall apart again unless they go into therapy!”

“She’s desperately trying to hang on," added the insider, "but she feels without a third party helping sort out their issues, they’re doomed.” But another insider revealed: “Kurt would rather get a root canal than sit down with a therapist to talk about his relationship issues. He tells Goldie he’s not a therapy kind of guy — the whole idea makes him squirm.”

The recent troubles started just as the couple began to talk marriage in 2015 — with pals now worrying Goldie & Kurt will end up like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, whose own relationship ended shortly after the longtime couple walked down the aisle!

The couple apparently don’t see eye-to-eye on many things. After raising the two children from Goldie’s troubled marriage to Bill Hudson — actors Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson — and the grown son, Wyatt Russell, she shares with Kurt, the once bubbly blonde wants to celebrate “being empty nesters, go for long walks on the beach and take romantic getaways,” said a pal.

Kurt, however, has reignited his career with five films in a row. Goldie has finally gotten in front of the cameras for a new comedy with Amy Schumer. Now the source says Goldie “wants to get Kurt in front of a therapist to get back on the same page — before it’s all over for them!”
