Goldie Hawn Flashes Engagement Ring After 32 Years Of Shacking Up
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been a Hollywood couple since 1983 — but the former hippie and "Laugh-In" star has always turned down Kurt's proposals of marriage. That all changed last year, as The ENQUIRER exclusively revealed that Goldie had finally said "yes" to walking down the aisle. Sources told The ENQUIRER that Kurt was determined to marry Goldie before her 70th birthday on November 21, 2015. That didn't exactly work out, but Goldie's sporting an engagement ring!
As The ENQUIRER reported in September, the road to matrimony wasn't easy for the longtime couple. Sources told The ENQUIRER that Goldie and Kurt had actually briefly broken up over her lover's ultimatum. "Kurt begged Goldie to come back," an insider dished. "He said he'd be lost in life without her!"
Now it seems Kurt's desperate plea was enough to inspire Goldie to finally become a bride. She had been determined to avoid marriage after her 1982 divorce from former teen-idol Bill Hudson. She had two children with Bill: son Oliver, born in 1976, and movie-star daughter Kate Hudson, born in 1979.
In 1986, Kurt and Goldie celebrated the birth of their son Wyatt. Goldie also helped to raise Kurt's son Boston from his first marriage to actress Season Hubley. The actress finally looks ready to make an honest man out of Kurt, with her new engagement ring sparkling in the sun as she went walking in her Brentwood, Calif. neighborhood.
