George Clooney and his wife Amal are in the lead to be godparents to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle first royal baby, palace insiders told The National ENQUIRER. “Amal and Meghan have grown close due to their Hollywood ties and humanitarian efforts,” spilled an insider. “The Clooneys had very good seats at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, a sign they are well regarded by the royal family.” George and his Lebanese-born lawyer wife even followed up the couple’s nuptials with an invitation to the newlyweds to their home in Lake Como, Italy. While there, the royal couple fawned over the Clooneys’ year-old twins Ella and Alexander, sparking their desire to have a baby as soon as possible.
