Youngjoo Hwang, who worked in the wardrobe department of "The Grinder," originally said that she had been "violently struck" by Savage while preparing him for a shoot in 2015. But, as Fred notes in a new court filing obtained by The Daily Mail, she's since dropped claims of "assault, battery, and employment-based discrimination, harassment and retaliation."

"Not surprisingly," adds the documents, those same charges were "the focus of her earlier press conference." Fred also says that Youngjoo spoke to the media because she "sought to harm Mr. Savage's good name." Now he's fighting a lawsuit by Youngjoo that include "gender violence."

Fred challenges that claim, saying that the accusations against him "require that the alleged violent conduct was motivated by plaintiff's gender." Instead, claims the actor, he wanted the backstage staffer to "stop touching him." He's now requesting that the case be thrown out, saying he's been "falsely painted" as a "violent attacker."
