Fred's TV mother Alley Mills shocked fans when she revealed that "The Wonder Years" abruptly went off the air in 1993 over a sex scandal involving the show's young star. She revealed in a new interview that her young costar had been hit with a sexual harassment suit that she dismissed as "completely ridiculous." But while she praised Fred as a "wonderful, sweet human being," others said the sex-crazed teen was out of control!

The sexual-harassment suit was filed by Monique Long, who was then working as a costume designer and Alley's dresser on the show. Court papers unearthed by The ENQUIRER in 1993 showed that Monique was also blasting the on-set culture of the show — claiming that, in addition to Fred constantly harassing her, other stars on the show suggested that she take Fred's virginity!

The court documents claimed that Monique approached Dan Lauria, who played Fred's onscreen dad, to ask him to stop his constant sexual remarks and advances — only to be told: "Monique, you know that he's been in love with you since you started the show and he had such a crush on you — you should be his first."

Long also claimed that Fred's co-star and TV brother Jason Hervey contributed to the harassment — viciously grabbing her from behind and refusing to release her‚ and pretending he was having sex with her. She also claimed Hervey made frequent sexual remarks to her such as: "How's your sex life?" "How do you like it?" "I bet you're wild in bed," and "What is wrong with you? Didn't you get any last night?"

Fred's attorney issued a denial at the time, and the "Wonder Years" star offered additional denials as he continued his Hollywood career— saying in 1996: "I was completely exonerated. I really don't want to talk about it." But just before "The Wonder Years" began its final season, The ENQUIRER had talked to other insiders claiming that the sex-crazed young star had gotten out of control!

An insider told The ENQUIRER in June 1992 that Fred had attended a Hollywood party where "he sneaked a videocamera into the bathroom, put it on a ledge in the shower and let it run. The other guys were in on it, too, but Fred was the instigator. Fred got some embarrassing footage before the girls found out, destroyed the tape and chased him out of the party."

"They also told Fred's mother," added the insider, "who grounded him." But, continued the pal, Fred still hadn't learned his lesson: "At a friend's party in the Valley, Fred drilled a hole in the wall between the bathroom and bedroom. It was an older, two-bedroom house with only one bathroom."The girls caught on to the gag because whenever one of them went inside the bathroom, Fred would disappear."
