In January 2017, then-FBI director James Comey, CIA director John O. Brennan and NSA director Adm. Michael S. Rogers published Steele’s unproven “smears” in a report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The memo also claims that warrants were served based on media reports — with Fusion GPS allegedly planting stories with the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN and more media outlets. A top insider earlier told The ENQUIRER that that the Trump administration always believed this information would be exposed. “When the Trumps go public with all their evidence,” said the D.C. source, “these plotters won’t know what hit them!”
