Billy Bush’s ‘I’m With Her’ Vote Photo Backfires

Billy Bush shocked the world when the jovial "Today" host ended up being embroiled in a scandal over his leaked audiotape with Donald Trump — and ended up losing his job! But while Trump went on to the presidency, Billy ended up in a new Election Day controversy while desperately attempting a comeback!

The day after Trump was elected, Billy went to social media to post a picture of his wife, his daughter and a poll worker, with the caption declaring: "I'm With Her!" The former "Access Hollywood" host — who's desperate for a new job — soon regretted his nod to Hillary Clinton's popular campaign slogan. His caption ended up infuriating both Republicans and Democrats.

Some commenters weren't happy with Billy taking sides, writing: “Please tell me you are not voting for 'her.'” Others mocked him for trying to get back in showbiz's good graces while posing with an African-American campaign worker: "That's awesome, Billy, LOL. Find the first minority you see to take a picture with...that'll show ppl you're 'legit' and 'about the ppl.' Haha, you're a disgrace."

Billy later tried to clarify his caption by writing: "I'm with Terri" — referring to the campaign worker. The damage, however, was done. Insiders have also told The National ENQUIRER that Billy's bid to change his image won't get him back on television, either!

Hollywood sources said that executives fear Billy (seen here with Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie) is now a major turn-off to female audiences — and claim he's already been snubbed by "Dancing With the Stars." A source explained: "Unlike Ryan Lochte, Billy Bush has no Olympic gold medals — just a tarnished reputation and his family name!”
