It was a bombshell development after weeks of speculation that Cosby might finally be forced to testify in his own defense after plaintiff Andrea Constand kept her cool under a grueling cross-examination. Andrea is one of the multiple women claiming that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her. In the case of Andrea, however, the accusation from 2004 is recent enough to have him facing prison time!

Cosby — whose wife Camille joined him in court for the first time today — is pleading not guilty to three charges of aggravated indecent assault. The prosecutors called a total of 12 witnesses to testify against Cosby, including one of his alleged former victims. Their one witness was already familiar to the jury, as well, with Detective Richard Schaffer have already taken the stand to testify about Cosby's responses during the first police investigation.

Det. Schaffer testified that Cosby had insisted that his sexual relations were consensual — but that the comic added: "I don't remember using the word 'consensual.' It was established. She came out to the house." Now the case is moving on to closing arguments, with Cosby only speaking once in court. That moment came after Judge Steven O'Neill asked if it was correct that the defendant did not intend to testify. “Correct,” replied Cosby.
