Sources close to the "Golden Girls" star say she looks and feels great without getting “work” done. “Her ship is sailing along just fine, and at her age, the thought of scalpels and anesthesia is terrifying,” The National ENQUIRER learned from a friend.

“Plastic surgery is fine if you’re not a coward, but I’m too chicken,” Betty admitted, adding with signature sass, “I’ve worked to get these sag lines, and I’m going to let them all hang out!” Besides, Betty said, “My friends with face-lifts all look terrible!” Betty prefers to stick with simple beauty and longevity secrets that keep her going strong.

“She gets up in the morning and does some stretches to stay limber,” confides her pal. “She eats three light meals a day, with lots of fresh fruit and veggies.” Which isn’t to say she’s on a diet! “She doesn’t believe in depriving herself,” explained her friend.

“Her must-have splurge is still a vodka on the rocks before dinner. If she wants a hamburger and French fries, she’ll have them!”
