After a 75-year career, beloved TV veteran Betty White plans to finally call it quits, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
The 92-year-old actress is telling pals this will likely be her last season on the TV Land sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” sources said.
“The show already makes special accommodations for Betty, but it’s become too much for her,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.
“She’s admitted she felt dizzy a few times after working under the hot TV lights.
“At first, she thought it might be a bug. But when it happened a second, then a third time, she knew she had a problem,” the source revealed.
She admits she’s bitten off more than she can chew. She just can’t hold up under the workload any longer.”
Betty has told her “Hot in Cleveland” co-stars– Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick – she plans to quit after this season, a friend added. “They told Betty that they’re afraid that if she retires, she’d slow down too much.”
“But Betty laughed and said, ‘Slow down? I’m almost at a crawl now!’”
