Ben Affleck — His Boozing Secret Behind Bizarre Face Rash

Ben Affleck is telegraphing another return to rehab with his rash-ravaged face!

The big-screen Batman stumbled out of Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” studio on Nov. 16 with his mug looking like he’d fallen asleep in a tanning bed! “He’s showing all the signs of alcohol abuse,” said New York–based internist Dr. Stuart Fischer.

“He appears incredibly flushed and bloated — which are both signs of overindulgence in alcohol. It appears as though he must have indulged prior to this photo being taken," said Dr. Fischer, who has not treated Ben. "He looks like anything but a superhero right now.”

The “Justice League” star stepped out with a scarlet kisser after Stephen ambushed him about his ties to alleged sexual predator Harvey Weinstein. The disgraced Hollywood mogul produced 1997’s “Good Will Hunting,” which earned Ben an Oscar for Best Screenplay.

Ben also starred in other Weinstein films, including “Shakespeare in Love” and “Chasing Amy.” When Stephen grilled him about Weinstein, an obviously rattled Ben blurted out: “This is a comedy show, correct?” Ben responded he would donate all his proceeds from Weinstein films to charities that benefit women.

Then the host pointed out that Ben — who’s been in and out of rehab at least twice — was also “accused of a few things.” Referring to the video of him groping then-MTV host Hilarie Burton in 2003, Ben coughed up an apology. “I don’t remember it, but I absolutely apologized for it,” he said. “I certainly don’t think she’s lying.”

Although he’s denied any knowledge of actress Rose McGowan’s explosive charges that Weinstein raped her, she branded the “Batman v. Superman” actor a “liar!” The “Charmed” star tweeted to Ben on social media: “I told him to stop doing that, you said that to my face … you lie.”

What’s more, as The National ENQUIRER has reported, Ben was spotted buying booze in Maine in July with his new squeeze, “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus. As a result, estranged wife Jennifer Garner has demanded that Ben be drug tested before overnight visits with their three pre-teen children.

Now the ugly rash on Ben’s face is just the latest sign that he needs to schedule another trip to a treatment facility to conquer his demons once and for all. “Ben’s got no other choice,” one source snitched. Dr. Fischer agreed, adding: “He clearly needs medical attention — and psychological support.”
