But, in truth, Huma had often helped to portray her husband as rehabilitated. Weiner's first sex scandal had the then-Congressman caught sending sexy social media missives to an aspiring journalism student, including a close-up pic of his manhood. Less than a year later, Huma was at his side for softball interviews, proclaiming: “I’m proud to be married to him.”

Huma helped Anthony claim that he was changing his life, and boasted that he was "trying to be the best dad and husband he can be.” But just two years later, Huma supported Weiner after he dismissed his sexting as "frivolous," saying: “I’m supposed to be sorry...but I don’t know if it’s hitting me like that.”
