Huma Abedin is in a forgiving mood now that the 2016 Presidential Race is over, and she’s been trying to save her crumbling marriage to Anthony Weiner!
After a very public split from her husband last August, Hillary Clinton’s top lieutenant is working on repairing the troubled union. Insiders say both of their families are behind the decision to reconcile – no matter how many times the fallen politician drags her down!
The man known as ‘Carlos Danger’ had still been sexting with women as recently as last summer, and pressure from the Clinton camp forced her to pull the plug on the marriage. He sent a photo of himself laying in bed – with his toddler son sleeping next to him! This came after his famous 2011 denial of sending a photo of himself with an erection in boxer briefs to college student! He resigned from Congress two weeks later.
Weiner is still being treated for sex addiction, but Abedin has given him the benefit of the doubt since he never made efforts to meet any of the women he sexted with in person.
“Huma takes it into consideration that there’s been no affair, or physical contact that anybody is aware of. He never met them,” confided a source close to the couple.
Even the parents of children who attend the same school as the couple’s 5-year-old son do not want Weiner anywhere near their kids on the playground!

As a result of Weiner’s sexting with a 15-year-old girl during Hillary’s run up to the Democratic Party nomination, Abedin had to endure the search and seizure of her husband’s laptop computer as part of the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s e-mails.
“You can be around a real world of value or you can live in a fake Clinton world that’s totally dysfunctional and without principle and an incredible amount of selfishness and narcissism,” said a source.
Despite suffering privately and very publicly as part of two failed presidential campaigns, Abedin has been making a comeback on the social scene. She was sitting front row during New York Fashion Week events, and has been spotted recently around Los Angeles.
“When she married Anthony, nobody could understand it . . . but she saw a life she wanted to live, that provided her with a lot of the stuff that she’s drawn to,” said a source. “Huma likes to go to all these things — fashion-show front rows — and that all emanates from her connectivity to Hillary.”
Abedin’s resiliency in weathering all the storms in her personal and professional life have won her admiration, and she’s aiming to reclaim the happiness she once shared with Weiner. Even dating while estranged from her husband has been out of the question.
“They clearly have rebuilt a life together,” said a friend of the couple. “How romantic it is, I can’t tell you.”
