“PraCh is a
great role model for Maddox," another source added. "He can teach him about his homeland of Cambodia in a way he can relate to. That’s because both Maddox (at left, with Angie and brother
Pax) and praCh were born in Cambodia, but didn’t grow up there.”

“Maleficent” star Angie was introduced to praCh by their mutual pal
Loung Ung — the Cambodian-American human rights activist who wrote the memoir “First They Killed My Father,” which Angie adapted into a movie.

Angie adopted Maddox in Cambodia shortly after his birth. The Southeast Asian country was suffering under the murderous Khmer Rouge regime when praCh was born — in a Cambodian concentration camp.

He fled the country as a child with his family, and they eventually settled in Long Beach. He’s been rapping in Khmer and English about issues affecting Cambodians since 2000, and has been dubbed the “first Cambodian rap star.”

Although praCh has been a mentor to Maddox, one source said he’s had
even more of an impact on Angie, describing the Southeast Asian superstar as her “perfect match!” The two have bonded over endless conversations about Cambodian politics and charity opportunities, according to the source.

Angie’s growing bond with praCh has also spurred a professional partnership that echoes her past with Brad. In September, Angie tapped praCh (here between Loung and Angie) to host a special screening of “First They Killed My Father” at the Cambodia Town Film Festival.

Since then, the pair have been virtually inseparable, popping up at events sponsored by L.A.’s Cambodian community. Sources said praCh has also grown increasingly close to Maddox. “PraCh has taken Maddox under his wing," dished The ENQUIRER’s source. "and
Angelina couldn’t be happier about it!”
