Angelina Jolie Spends Millions To Get Closer To Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is ready to remain in L.A. for her newly-sober estranged husband Brad Pitt — and is reportedly dropping $24 million to make it easier for him to see the kids!

The glamorous film star even shocked the residents of Irwindale, Calif., by showing up with her kids Shiloh and Knox at a local Renaissance Faire — and even ate a turkey leg while looking healthier than ever! After Brad's bravely went public with his battle against booze, insiders say that Angelina is ready to invest in making it easier for him to see their kids again!

“Angie is interested in moving closer so it will be easier for the kids to see Brad," one insider told London's Daily Mirror. "She lives in Malibu, [which is] a long commute.” The National ENQUIRER's own Mike Walker also revealed that Angelina and Brad were finally in touch after the start of their brutal divorce, although the "Maleficent" star wasn't happy with the kids constantly calling their dad on the phone!

But now Angelina is eying a six-bedroom mansion in Los Feliz — less than two miles away from Brad’s own home in the Los Angeles neighborhood. Brad will appreciate the company, too, having confessed that he gave up drinking while also fighting depression in his new bachelor pad: “It was too sad to be here at first, so I stayed on a friend’s floor!”
