Rob Shuter reports… CBS star Julie Chen said goodbye to “The Talk” after her media mogul husband Les Moonves left the network over yet another showbiz sexual harassment scandal — and she’s also lost touch with her former co-hosts!
Insiders report that Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Sheryl Underwood and Eve have all been staying away from their former pal after Julie gave up her regular commitments on both “The Talk” and “Big Brother.”
Said one insider: “All shows say they’re family. But when someone leaves, almost none of them stay in touch!”
The source added, however, that “when Julie quit, things were very awkward between her and all the ladies.”
But, said the spy, Julie hasn’t been left completely alone while “The Talk” looks for a new host: “Eve has checked in with Julie a few times, which really meant the world to her…Maybe they’ll all be friends again one day. Just not today!”
