At least twelve people are reported dead after a van went crashing into the sidewalk of busy Las Ramblas Boulevard in Barcelona.
Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle tore through the populated stretch for over 200 yards.
Police have confirmed to it that an armed man had barricaded himself in a Turkish restaurant near where the van came to a stop on Las Ramblas.
As seen in this disturbing footage, there were multiple injuries left in the van’s wake — with locals fearing that Barcelona had become yet another site of terrorism by car, much like recent tragic events in Stockholm, Sweden and even Charlottesville, Virginia!
