JonBenét Ramsey‘s brother Burke and broadcast giant CBS have settled the lawsuit he’d brought against the company for airing a documentary claiming he was his sister’s killer!

The six-year-old beauty queen’s murder case remains officially unsolved nearly 22 years after she was discovered sexually molested, bludgeoned and strangled to death in the basement of the family’s Boulder, Colo., home on Christmas Day 1996.

As The National ENQUIRER reported in October, 2018, Burke’s defamation lawsuit over the 2016 docuseries, “The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey.”threatened to blow the shocking case wide open again.” (Burke, 31, is shown at right, and with his sister and mother in the inset photo).

While the case against CBS Corp. and other parties who participated in the production has been settled, the parties involved are not yet discussing terms of the agreement.

A statement from the producers stated that “The parties have reached an amicable resolution of their differences and will have no further comment.”

Documents filed by Burke’s lawyers said the programs invited viewers believe “that Burke Ramsey killed his six-year-old sister,” which it labeled as “false and defamatory per se.”

Moreover, the suit contended that “Burke Ramsey did not kill his sister and had no involvement in her brutal murder.”

In filing an order of dismissal of the case on Jan. 2, Judge David A. Groner of the Circuit Court for Wayne County, Mich., declared that the cases “are dismissed with prejudice and without costs or attorney fees. This is a final order and the case is closed.”
