The Wendy Williams Show without Wendy Williams? Her staff wouldn’t mind it. According to RadarOnline.com, those who work on the TV personality’s eponymous talk show are just doing just fine without her there as she remains on her extended leave of absence.
In fact, they’re hoping the troubled host, 54, and her husband, Kevin Hunter, never return to the Pop series!

“It has been like a vacation having guest hosts. Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together. We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin, we forgot what a fun work environment was,” the source spilled to the news outlet.

“At first the staff was worried about losing their jobs,” the insider continued. “Now it looks like the show can survive without Wendy, and a lot of people don’t want her to return.”

An insider noted to Radar that Wendy’s attitude on set doesn’t exactly make her approachable for staff members. “There was so many unwritten rules with working with Wendy. You couldn’t contact her directly. Only certain staff members could talk with her,” the insider noted.

And her husband, Kevin Hunter, is even worse. “No one was allowed to disagree with him. It was a nightmare work environment,” the insider dished. “You never knew what mood Wendy or Kevin were going to be in.”
