Teresa Giudice has just learned that her status as a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star couldn’t save her jailbird husband Joe from being deported to his native Italy! Sadly, it’s more bad news after insiders reported that the reality star was desperately trying to petition her old “Celebrity Apprentice” boss, President Trump, for a pardon! “Teresa has been calling ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ folks, trying to get a contact for President Trump or [his daughter] Ivanka,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER as Joe began facing deportation procedures in July. “She wants to reach out to ‘her friend’ Donald!”
Teresa made her D.C. connection after appearing on Trump’s reality show in the spring of 2012 — and Joe even made a cameo in the season’s fourth episode, along with two of the couple’s four daughters. Trump ultimately told Teresa “You’re fired!” in episode 12, with the future POTUS disappointed in Teresa’s negotiating tactics. That still didn’t stop Teresa from trying to cut a deal with Trump for the sake of Joe, having pumped herself full of positivity while becoming a fitness model! But source had warned that she’d be facing a big hurdle in getting through to the most powerful man in the world….

“Even when filming ‘The Apprentice,’ Teresa did not have a lot of access to Trump,” The ENQUIRER’s insider said as Joe's deportation proceedings started. “Everything went through production people. She doesn’t have an email or phone number to contact him — but she’s trying very hard to get it!”

Joe, shown here inside the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey, isn't an American citizen. He does, however, hold a coveted Green Card — meaning that he was previously allowed to live and work permanently in the United States. A full and unconditional federal pardon for a crime would usually eliminate the grounds for a convicted person's deportation.

The ENQUIRER’s insider added that that Teresa had been inspired by Kim Kardashian’s ability to successfully petition Trump on behalf of another prisoner. Kim traveled to the White House on a successful mission to free Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving life in prison for a nonviolent drug conviction.

“Teresa doesn’t think that it’s out of the question to get the same for Joe,” the insider said before the deportation ruling. “Plus, Joe is a celebrity — and the lady Kim got pardoned, no one has ever heard of!”
