Believe it or not, serial killer Ted Bundy had a wife before his execution in the electric chair back in 1989.
Carole Boone — whom he wed in a bizarre courtroom ceremony in 1980 — changed her identity four different times to avoid being linked to the sicko, but The National ENQUIRER has unveiled the first photo of her in 30 years!
They had a falling out before she died, but she once explained her attraction to the murderer. “He struck me as being a rather shy person with a lot more going on under the surface,” she confessed
However, when she died in 2018, she sadly took Ted’s secrets to the grave!

In recent years Carole ran into health problems and checked into a retirement community, where no one had any idea of her past life married to a notorious killer.
A former friend said: “She enjoyed knitting and watching soccer. She had attitude. She loved nature programs, especially ones about sharks.”

According to her death certificate, she died of septic shock in January 2018 aged 70. She is also believed to have suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and was confined to a wheelchair when she died.

Before her death, she went by the name Carol Mercedes Johnson and she worked as a web designer. However, none of her acquaintances knew she was once married to the twisted serial killer!

The former couple’s daughter Rose is said to have stayed in contact with her and visited in the year before her death.
Carole’s son from another marriage, Jim, lives in Seattle but declined to comment when approached by The National ENQUIRER.
