Shirley MacLaine — A Shocking Sight At 82!

"Misery" star Kathy Bates brought along pals while accepting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame — including Billy Bob Thornton as his ex Angelina Jolie filed her divorce papers against Brad Pitt! But while Kathy showed off a dramatic weight loss, all eyes were on Shirley MacLaine, who stole the show while hading out in a sheer top!

As caught by The National ENQUIRER, Shirley managed some make-up magic for the photographers covering the event. The 82-year-old star — who won her own Oscar for 1983's "Terms of Endearment" — still had fans marveling at her bizarre look, even as her superstar brother Warren Beatty also begins to show his age!

Experts say the bizarre meltdown is the result of too much plastic surgery in the screen legend's past! Cosmetic surgeon Steve Fallek — who hasn't treated Shirley — told The ENQUIRER that Shirley "appears to be a prime example of what happens later in life after having too much work done. Some areas of her face are still too tight, while others are still too loose."

Dr. Kenneth Beer, who also hasn't treated Shirley, said that it seems the star "had a facelift that pulled the skin really tight on the sides of her face, leaving too much slack in front. Over time, her face dropped — and because it's anchored to the sides, she's getting ripples that are fanning out."

That isn't keeping Shirley from showing her face, though. The famously outspoken actress — who once shocked fans by revealing her sex secrets — is still working steadily. That includes the upcoming "The Last Word," where Shirley acknowledges her age by playing a woman who's working on her own obituary!
