Selena Gomez’s Secret Rehab Stint Over Drug Relapse

Selena Gomez is being pushed to the brink by stress, said insiders who believe the former Disney darling’s latest stint in rehab was a desperate attempt to curb her hard-partying ways!

The “Come and Get It” singer spent two weeks at the luxe Privé-Swiss facility in Connecticut in January — allegedly for depression and anxiety. But The National ENQUIRER has learned those close to the troubled 25-year-old are terrified she’s relapsed!

“Selena’s inner circle is afraid she is back on drugs and racing toward a breakdown,” claimed an source. The disturbing news follows a series of grueling months for the petite performer. After undergoing a lifesaving kidney transplant in 2017, she reunited with bad boy ex Justin Bieber — causing a massive rift with her family!

Selena’s furious mom, Mandy Teefey, flipped out when she learned her daughter had rekindled her romance with the “Sorry” singer. Since then, a snitch dished, “Selena changed her number, again, in an effort to avoid Mandy. Mandy is now speaking to Selena through Justin and his mother.”

But as their estrangement continues, the source said, “The label just gave her another huge advance which, mixed with Justin’s resources — he’s covering her security and transportation — has led to some pretty heavy partying, even for her.”

Selena has also been subject to criticism from fans — and her mom — for her decision to star in accused abuser Woody Allen’s movie, “A Rainy Day in New York.” “I had a long talk with her about not working with him and it didn’t click,” Mandy sniped on Instagram.

Selena, shown here in 2015 with pal Hailee Steinfeld, has had two previous trips to rehab, including one in 2016 after she was allegedly downing a potentially deadly cocktail of “Lunesta, Ambien, Klonopin and Xanax” before loved ones staged a desperate intervention.
