Prince Harry showed up at Pippa Middleton’s wedding to millionaire hedge fund manager James Matthews without his main squeeze Meghan Markle on his arm!
The “ginger prince” instead arrived at St. Mark’s Church with older brother Prince William, but the actress is believed to be joining her boyfriend for the reception being held on the grounds of the Middleton’s family home following the exchanging of vows.
Word is the actress avoided the ceremony as part of “royal protocol” — which frowns upon members of the royal family to upstage proceedings that are not official royal events. Markle’s presence at the nuptials would have certainly taken attention away from the blushing bride’s big day!
Harry recently received permission from Queen Elizabeth to potentially propose to the “Suits” star, as the couple have been dating since late last year. In recent months, Markle has accompanied Harry to his recent polo match, as well as for a wedding in Jamaica — the site of her first marriage to producer Trevor Engelson in 2011.
