The aspiring pop star helped save the life of her doomed mentor for a precious few days. But that was only because she saw him nodding off from a drug overdose!

Instead, Judith was able to briefly save the life of the AIDS-stricken rocker. “We knew it was only a matter of time," said Judith, after a longtime aide to Prince couldn't help her in rousing the dying star. "We had to get down. We didn’t have anything on the plane to help him.”

The plane made a desperate detour to Chicago, where — as reported by The National ENQUIRER — the star was met on the tarmac and given a shot of Narcan. The antidote is often used to treat people in the throes of an opioid overdose.

The ambulance then took Prince to Trinity Moline Hospital. Sadly, Judith couldn't help Prince as he continued to abuse various painkillers while denying his AIDS diagnosis. His publicists later insisted that Prince had simply been hospitalized over lingering effects of the flu.

The star would be dead six days later at the age of 57 from a fatal overdose of the opioid painkiller fentanyl. “Now he’s gone," said Judith, "and I realize I was leaning on him a lot. And that’s what’s scary. I’m on my own.”

"Hundreds of pills said to be at Paisley Park disappeared before lawmen arrived,” an insider said. “Police suspect a cover-up.”
