The world is still reeling from the sudden death of legendary rocker Prince after he was found dead on April 21 at his Paisley Park estate at Chanhassen, Minnesota! As revealed by The National ENQUIRER, the tragedy was confirmed with an official report from Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson, who said: "At about 9:45 am, sheriff's deputies responded to a medical at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen. When deputies and medical personnel arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male in the elevator."

"First responders attempted to provide lifesaving CPR," Olson added, "but were unable to revive the victim. He was pronounced deceased at 10:07 am. He has been identified as Prince Rogers Nelson of Chanhassen." The beloved star was only 57 years old.

The disturbing details include the revelation that the initial caller didn't know the actual address of Prince's famous Minnesota entertainment complex — only telling the operator: "Um, we're at Prince's house."

Also, even though medical personnel were called to the scene, the caller told the 911 operator: "The person is dead here" — adding, "The people are just distraught!" The caller also mistakenly told the operator that the Paisley Park complex was in Minneapolis, instead of nearby Chanhassen.

Prince shot to stardom with 1984's "Purple Rain," as the breakthrough album served as the soundtrack to a hit movie. The young star even won the Oscar for Best Original Song Score for “Purple Rain.” He failed to thrive in Hollywood, but enjoyed more hits through the '80s — and then began to scuttle his own career in the '90s.

The bizarre rocker flooded the market with his own releases in a desperate attempt to get out of his recording contract with Warner Bros Records. Prince refused to even use his name, and asked to be recognized through a squiggly doodle.
