“They did it as a clue, to say ‘Yeah, he faked his death!’ ” insists Pearl, who previously owned the web domain. Michael has provided “wink-wink” clues that he's alive, she said, and his estate and family members are in on it.

Pearl also dismisses the possibility that the domain was registered to quash her claim that Michael is alive. “Silence my efforts? I have a website, a book and three documentaries about it,” Pearl said.

Although the "Billie Jean" singer's whereabouts remain unknown, Pearl says she’s communicated with Michael online and by phone. She’s confirmed the calls are legitimate by “prying, prying, prying” for information only Michael could provide.
