Michael, however, was already denying those accusations at the time. "I went to rehab for alcohol abuse," he said. "I was just drinking too much." He added, speaking of his then-wife: "It's something Diandra and I have struggled through." He had reportedly been sent to rehab after being caught by Diandra while in a hotel with another woman — and the couple divorced in 1995.

Michael, is still fighting back against Susan's new claims. "It’s extremely painful," he told Deadline. "I pride myself on my reputation in this business — not to mention the long history of my father and everything else. I don’t have skeletons in my closet, or anyone else who’s coming out or saying this. I’m bewildered why, after 32 years, this is coming out now."
