But things went wrong in 2003, when shocked fans found Marie showing off what insiders called a "more mature" look. In fact, the suspected
plastic surgery seemed to actually add years to Marie's face. Friends, however, insisted that Marie didn't do anything more drastic than a few Botox infections.

Marie looked a little less shocking by 2009, when she released a new album with all proceeds going to charity. By then, she and Donny had a hit Las Vegas residency that kept her looking fit at 51 years old.

But the former teen star seemingly went too far again in 2010 — with fans divided over whether she'd turned into
Joan Rivers or
Tori Spelling. Noted plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who hadn't treated Marie, said "Her nose is thinner and whittled down," before adding that fillers had given her "trout pout, and that "the wrinkles under her eyes have disappeared, possibly from a lower eyelid lift."

And, sadly, insiders are saying that Marie hasn't learned her lesson — leading to her starting out 2018 with what seems to be even more work! “Everybody’s trying to get into whatever works,” said Marie, who'd also
just lost an impressive 50 pounds on a diet program. But, warned one friend: “Marie has become totally fixated with making herself over completely!”
