Marie Osmond is caught in a painful $20 million divorce drama, The National ENQUIRER has learned.

The talented entertainer remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig, in 2011, after a disastrous second marriage to music producer Brian Blosil, in which she endured spousal abuse and the suicide of her 18-year-old son, Michael.

“But the remarriage to Stephen has been plagued,” a source said. “Since they first divorced in 1985, she’s a different person. Marie has still never recovered emotionally from the turmoil of her marriage to Brian — and instead just threw herself into work, work, work.

“Stephen has grown tired of it and demanded she give up Las Vegas and her nonstop work schedule and find time for him.

“But Marie feels she can’t stop. It has put them on the brink of splitting up.”

In an attempt to save the marriage, Marie, 56, flew Stephen to Mazatlan, Mexico, for a romantic escape in mid-September.

“The kids were left behind and it was just the two of them. It was a peace offering from Marie to Stephen,” the insider explained.

“The fact is, Marie can’t emotionally afford another divorce. So she’s trying to keep Stephen from ending it.”

Another source said the singer is still dealing with the abuse left from her time with Brian.

She’s described it as a “living hell” and said she was once pushed down the stairs and struck by him, claims he has denied.

To make matters worse, a television movie is being produced based on a new book, “The Life and Career of Marie Osmond,” by celebrity journalist Randy Jernigan, which will center on her tortured 21-year marriage to Brian.

“The movie is bound to upset her,” said the source. “Hopefully she and Stephen will remain strong enough to get through it.”
